Our unique approach makes short-term missions a two-way street.

RoundTripMissions.com is a resource of Christianity Today International. It provides high-quality, interactive resources to equip mission teams for effective service while offering wisdom, discernment and guidance for the thriving short term mission movement.

The site has its origins in the Round Trip DVD, a documentary-style curriculum that emphasizes the need for lasting partnerships between short term mission teams and their host communities. RoundTripMissions.com continues this emphasis by featuring the insights of today’s most respected short term mission thinkers and practitioners to encourage trips that result in lasting change and sustained partnerships.

RoundTripMissions.com provides a wealth of tools that cover virtually every aspect of planning and executing a short term mission trip. Highlights include customized blogs for your mission teams, a cutting-edge fundraising tool, planning calendars, a safety and liability section, and dozens of downloadable training tools. We also offer a variety of practical and theoretical articles from today’s most respected missions’ thinkers. Sign up for a free account to access all of these features.

Short-term mission trips have exploded in the last 20 years. Today, most local churches have taken a group to a different country. A recent survey to subscribers of LEADERSHIP Journal and BuildingChurchLeaders.com found 68 percent have been on a short-term mission trip, and 60 percent of those people have led a trip. In all, approximately two million Americans from 40,000 churches embark on a short term mission trip each year.

Yet something seems to be missing for many of these leaders and participants: a comprehensive, thoughtful, multi-faceted site that equips churches with tools to prepare and plan before, during, and after a short-term mission trip.

RoundTripMissions.com was created to fill that need. Our site targets leaders of short-term mission trips, participants of trips, and other people interested in missions. Our goal is to provide them with the best resources while challenging them to prayerfully consider how their excursions can best change lives and advance the kingdom.
